Terms and Conditions
1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to the purchase of instruments offered through the Galileo
Guitars website and its related payment systems.
They apply to all standard production models released under the Galileo line, as well as any future
standard production instrument offered by Galileo Guitars, unless otherwise specified.
By proceeding with payment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these
Terms and Conditions.
2. Brand and Product Lines
Galileo Guitars is a product line and brand owned and operated by Carpinteri Guitars.
All instruments sold under the Galileo name are designed, produced, and distributed by Carpinteri
Guitars and are subject to these Terms and Conditions.
3. Product Description
Instruments offered through the Galileo Guitars website, except for in-stock items, are
made-to-order instruments produced in limited production batches.
Each instrument is handcrafted as part of an organized production process.
4. Production Batches
Production is organized in limited batches.
Each batch defines when work on the instrument will begin.
For example, instruments assigned to a January–June 2026 batch will enter production starting
January 2026.
Production availability shown on the website is updated manually and may not reflect real-time
changes.
5. Production Deposit
A production deposit is required to reserve a production slot.
Unless otherwise specified, the production deposit corresponds to 40% of the total instrument price,
including shipping costs.
The production deposit confirms the customer’s commitment and secures a place in the selected
production batch.
6. Refund Policy – Production Deposit
The production deposit is non-refundable once the production process has begun due to the
custom nature of the instrument.
If production has not yet started, refund requests may be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at the
sole discretion of Galileo Guitars.
This policy complies with EU consumer protection regulations regarding goods made to order or
clearly personalized production processes.
7. Prices and Taxes
All prices on the website are exclusive of shipping costs.
Applicable taxes (including VAT) are calculated during the quotation based on:
– billing address
– tax residence
– VAT number, if provided
Customers are responsible for the accuracy of the information provided.
8. Final Balance and Shipping Costs
The remaining balance will be communicated when the instrument is nearly completed.
Final shipping costs will be calculated based on:
– destination country
– carrier rates
– applicable insurance costs at the time of shipment
A separate communication will be sent when the instrument is ready for delivery.
9. Shipping, Delivery and Tracking
Shipping is arranged once the final balance and shipping costs have been paid.
Once the instrument is shipped, a tracking number will be provided via email.
Estimated production and delivery times are indicative and may vary depending on:
– batch scheduling
– material availability
– workshop organization
Any delays in production or delivery do not entitle the customer to partial refunds, compensation, or
price reductions.
10. Order Confirmation and Communications
After payment, customers will receive a personal confirmation email.
This communication is intended to:
– confirm order details
– verify assignment to the production batch
– request any additional information, if necessary
In the event of excess orders compared to batch availability, customers will be contacted directly to
discuss available options, which may include assignment to a different batch or a refund, if
requested.
11. Production Updates
General updates on production and workshop progress may be shared through Galileo Guitars’
official communication channels, including social media.
Individual production status updates are not guaranteed, except where necessary for logistical or
administrative reasons.
